These terms govern your use of ailane.in and the AI tools listed here. By using the site or any tool linked from it, you agree to what's below. The terms are short on purpose; AiLane is a hobby-scale free service and the legal surface should match.

1. What AiLane is

AiLane is a curated directory of small AI tools, each built and operated by the same developer. Listings on AiLane link out to the tools themselves; the tools are provided free of charge and without an account.

2. As-is, no warranty

Everything on AiLane is provided strictly as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind — express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI outputs, uninterrupted availability, and freedom from defects. Outputs from AI tools (like upscaled images, generated summaries, etc.) may be incorrect, unsuitable, or unexpected. Verify before relying on them for anything important.

3. Acceptable use

Don't do any of the following:

• Use the tools to process content that's illegal, infringes someone's rights, or sexualizes minors.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent rate limits or abuse protections.
• Scrape, mirror, or rebrand the tools without permission.
• Attempt to identify or de-anonymize other users.

4. Your content, your rights

If you upload an image to Upskale (or content to any future tool), you retain all rights to it. By submitting, you grant the tool a temporary, limited license to process the content for the sole purpose of producing the output. Files are deleted automatically — typically within an hour. AiLane does not view, share, or train models on user content.

5. Advertising

AiLane is monetized through Google AdSense. Ads shown on the site are served by Google and its partners. Ads are not endorsements; we don't audit advertisers individually. If a specific ad is misleading or harmful, please report it via Google's "Why this ad?" controls.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AiLane and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of the site or its tools. Because no fees are paid, total aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid AiLane in the preceding twelve months, which is zero.

7. Changes

Terms may change over time. The "Last updated" date will reflect any change. Continued use of AiLane after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes (unlikely) are subject to the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
